music review

W h i t e   E l e p h a n t
Playing their first show as the band White Elephant (formerly known as Marina And Some Boys)  last saturday at The PigPen, Marina Tijerino, Jeff Andrus, Sean Roylance and their latest member to the band, Spencer Rich played a great show pleasing the ears of Pleasant Grove Utah with their cool blues/rock style. Influenced greatly by The Deadweather, Jack White, Radio Head and The Black Keys. Covering the songs "Seven Nation Army" by the White Stripes, "I've Got Mine" by t he Black Keys and recently recording their own song "Spirals" they have developed their new sound over the course of a few months and have been using the recording time they won during Battle of The Bands at Timpanogos Highschool in the late spring, with their former bassist Jude Hall(Big Red). I'm excited to hear more music from White Elephant, you should expect to see them play local shows over the next couple months,Support White Elephant by adding their Facebook page, also check out their videos from the PigPen show and pictures of Spencer Rich enjoying a bowl of egg salad, hurry! before it's too late!
